What Do I Need to Bring?
All of your fishing equipment is provided for you by your captain. All you need to bring is food and beverages, adequate clothing (remember that the temperature can be 80 degrees on shore but two miles offshore it could drop to the mid-50's) including a sweatshirt or jacket, long pants, soft-soled shoes and sunscreen.
You will also need to bring along a cooler to transport your fish home, and your fishing license. The license required is a Wisconsin Fishing License along with a Great Lakes trout stamp. You can purchase your license at various local outlets, or your captain has two-day licenses available for purchase on board prior to your departure. Great Lakes trout stamps can also be purchased separately if you already have your Wisconsin fishing license
Don't worry about equipment to clean the fish. As a part of your charter your captain will clean your catch for you - either gut-and-gilled for filleted - your choice. Captain Dale can even provide tips on how to prepare your catch.
And don't forget to bring your camera!
